TOGAF Framework
CategoryArchitecture Framework
TOGAF 9.2 is a detailed method and a set of supporting tools for developing an Enterprise Architecture. It describes an approach for designing a target state of the enterprise in terms of building blocks, showing how they fit together, and developing their evolution roadmaps.

Enterprise Architecture Capabilities and Processes
TOGAF 9.2 is a leading framework that provides an iterative process model for designing, planning, implementing and governing an enterprise IT architecture.
The framework identifies four major architecture domains commonly accepted as subsets of an overall Enterprise Architecture: Business, Data, Application and Technology. TOGAF has become a framework for managing the entire, cross-domain spectrum of change required to transform an enterprise towards a target operating model.
The included Architecture Development Method (ADM) describes a process for developing architectures, which includes Vision, Domain-specific Architectures, Opportunities and Solutions, Implementation Governance and Change Management phases.
TOGAF embraces an approach of formally describing functional capability groups within each domain, target technical components, their inter-relationships, and architecture principles and recommendations governing their design and evolution.
