Integrated Urban Mobility
Innovation and Excellence of Transit Services
CUTA is dedicated to identifying and providing thought leadership on the key challenges facing the Canadian transit industry, including leading-edge technology, policy evolution, urban design trends and proactive strategic advancement.
CUTA Reports publish detailed data collected from over 100 transit system members, which includes fleet size, accessibility, ridership and operating statistics. These reports are widely used as a tool by transit managers, government agencies, and transit operators to support decision-making that is beneficial to the public transit industry.
Research conducted by the association links members to a vast body of knowledge on public transit and urban mobility and responds to unique Canadian needs. A landmark publication, Transit Vision 2040 is the industry blueprint for the next generation.
The association maintains a Centre of Excellence on the Integrated Urban Mobility (IUM), which inspires the industry evolution by discussing community benefits associated with transit, alternative propulsion technologies and autonomous vehicles.
