Case Study Overview
Initial State
The current approach for transit asset administration and lifecycle management cannot serve the anticipated rapid investments across the agency. The business initiated asset transformation program to procure tools and optimize processes around corridor expansion, fleet maintenance, facility management and station operations.
Target State
As part of the Asset Management Foundation solution delivery, an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platform is deployed and integrated with finance, project and workforce management systems using ESB and API Management.
The modernized EAM platform is configured to utilize an enterprise-wide Geographic Information System and Document and Records Management platform for providing a 360° view of a transportation asset at any stage of its lifecycle.
